location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Camarillo Airport Viewport (Waypoint Cafe)
This is one of our most popular events. All members, 49.5s and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. We switch off each year between the 3 Ventura County airports, and this year it is at Camarillo Airport. The dinner will be 4 courses at 4 different hangars at Camarillo Airport.
Cash will be collected at the event-$10 if you bring a dish, or $15 if you don’t. Water or soda included with meal, or wine $5 per glass. Our main dish will be various Chili batches. Please consider bringing an appetizer, salad, or dessert to complement the chili theme.
Meet at the Viewport (Next to the Waypoint Cafe) 5:15-5:30; Hanger E3 (Stover’s) 5:30 - 6:05 for Appetizers; Hangar P100 (Heintz’s) 6:15 - 6:50 for Salads; Hangar C336 (Corby/Maloney) 7:00 - 7:35 for Chii; Hangar E6 (Lanter’s) 7:45 - 8:20 for Dessert. An airport diagram will be handed out at the Viewport.

Join us for a student pilot discussion. ur guest will be Judy Phelps. In 2021, she became a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE). She will be sharing all things DPE at this discussion.
Judy is a Master Certified Flight Instructor-Aerobatic, CFI – Instrument, specializing in Tailwheel, Spins, Emergency Maneuver Training and Aerobatics. She is the 2011 National Flight Instructor of the Year, the 2010 Western Pacific Region FAA Flight Instructor of the year, the 2008 Professional Woman Pilot of the Year by the Southwest Section of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, and the 2006 Woman Pilot of the Year by the Ventura County Chapter of the Ninety-Nines. She is also a charter member of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE).
